また再開したいと思います！
このときも、最初は酔っぱらって適当な話をしているだけのように見えた若い男性が、後には津波で自分の友人が数十人も亡くなったと話してくれました。そんな心の痛みを誰が想像できるでしょう。神様が触れてくださることしか慰めを与えられないですよね。
話した中の数人は、私たちと話していることを友人にからかわれて無理矢理連れて行かれてしまったんだけど、その一人はわざわざそんな友人をストップして
「バカにされることも多いと思うけど、がんばって続けて活動してください。」
と言ってくださった。何やってんの？？？とバカにする人がほとんどでも、神様のことを聞きたいと思う人たちが必ずいる。やっぱり出かけていきたいです。
When the Iris team was here, the team and us went out to Kokubuncho in Sendai downtown to meet people and let them know God loves them!
(Yes, we had done this kind of thing before, but had stopped it since we didn't have enough people... but this shouldn't be an excuse any more...)
So watch this space, we will be out again!
On of those nights, a team member was talking to a young man, who at first appeared to be just joking around. He was quite drunk. But later he shared that he had lost many of his friends in the tsunami. How can anyone know the pain of such a thing... only God can bring comfort...
Several of the people we talked to on the street were pulled away from us by their friends who thought they were being silly and embarrassing to be talking to crazy people like us! But one of them stopped their friend and made it a point to tell us TO KEEP DOING WHAT WE ARE DOING EVEN IF PEOPLE RIDICULE US! Yes!!!!! Many may think we are foolish, but there ARE people who REALLY WANT TO MEET GOD!!!!! So we want to keep doing this.
