ジェンキンズ家でワーシップ＆祈りのため集まりました♪ Time of worship&prayer at the Jenkins

今晩は、ジェンキンズ家のリビング／ダイニングにたくさんの人が集まりました♪
何のため？
みんなで神様を礼拝して、愛して、神様の臨在をエンジョイするためです。
賛美したり、主の歌を歌ったり、祈ったり。
日曜日とは違う雰囲気で、やっぱりこういうのも必要ですね〜

ジェレミーが最後に一言シェアしました。
それぞれ個人で神様を礼拝したり、神様の臨在を知ることは大切だけど、
集まってみんなでそれをすることは、お互いの間の信頼感も必要となってくる。
回を重ねることで、集まっているんだけど、誰かがリードするというよりも、聖霊様にリードしてもらう集まりになっていくことがもっと楽しみだ、って。

本当にそうです。

最後に神様が私に、日本のクリスチャン、というか教会の姿を見せてくれました。
今までのイメージとは全く違う、
雄々しく力強く激しく熱い。。。まるで炎が動いているような群れの姿でした。
言葉では表しにくいですが、そのイメージが心に焼き付いています。

次回は９月の第一金曜日の夜に集まります。

We gathered together to worship and pray in our (Jenkins' house) living/dining room tonight!
Just to worship our Father together, to love Him, and to enjoy His presence.
We sang, worshipped in the spirit, prayed.
It's a different kind of thing to gathering for worship on Sundays.
Very much needed, encouraging time.

Jeremy commented at the end;

it's important for us to worship God individually and to know His presence,

but it requires trust between each other to do it together as a group.

We (Jenkins) led the whole thing more tonight, but as we do this more together, it'll be more the Holy Spirit leading us, and it'll be more fun!

God also showed me a vision of the Japanese christians, or the church at the end of our meeting.
It was so different from the image of us until now.

The Japanese church, the tribe, looked so courageous, powerful, strong, tenacious, fearless, passionate...
it was as though a big flame of fire was moving around.
It's hard to express in words, but the image stuck with me.

Our next meeting will be on the first Friday night of September!
